What You Need to Rent a Salon Room

Is there a best time to rent a salon suite for rent?

To rent a salon room, you need certain things. This is not an exhaustive list of all things you will need, but it is a list of the most important in our opinion.  Who are we? The cost of salon suite rental

Any discussion like this one always comes down to money, or so it seems, but there is no getting around the economics of the matter.  You will need some investment capital.  How much is an individual decision, but we can give you a ballpark figure which can serve as a baseline.

If the company you rent from is like Salon and Spa Galleria, most of what you need will be included in the salon spa rental space, including the following: utilities, marketing package, furniture, equipment, WiFi, HDTV, concierge, laundry facilities, and of course a luxury salon suites.  This leaves the following for you to pay for: your business license, business cards, supplies, and product to sell in your salon room.  It is hard to put an exact dollar figure on this, but we estimate you could open your own business, in one of our $50 per week salon suite, for as little as $500 start-up capital . . . let’s say $1,000 as the absolute tops.  Of course, it is up to you to find out what is included in that lease.  If furniture/equipment are not included, your start-up costs are going to be considerably higher, so make sure you shop around and find the best deal possible.

What else do you need for a salon rental?

The next item you need is personal: you need the courage to go it alone.  It’s one thing to dream about owning your own business; it’s quite another to cut the umbilical cord and actually do it.  Not everyone is cut out for owning a business.  Not everyone has the drive and determination to make it work.  Do you? This calls for some self-truth and soul-searching.

And do you have the marketing skills necessary to thrive?  At Salon and Spa Galleria, we provide a web page on our company site for each of our independent clients, and we can provide some marketing suggestions, but the main job of marketing is up to them.  Can you sell yourself without feeling self-conscious or embarrassed?  Again, only you can answer that question.

Those are the top three needs when considering whether or not to rent a salon room.  Look them over. Give them some thought? Is it for you?  Or are you better suited for simply working in a beauty salon owned by someone else.
