A Salon Suite Rental In Fort Worth Is A Great Career Move

By January 5, 2023Salon Spa Blog
Renting a spa at Salon & Spa Galleria is a great decision.

Renting a salon suite rental is a big step in your career. We understand.  You may be hesitating because you just aren’t sure, or because you just don’t have all the information you need to make that decision.

It is our goal, in this article, to help you take the next step in your career, a step you deserve to take.  We are Salon & Spa Galleria, and we rock the Fort Worth area with twenty-two salon suite rental locations. Call us at 972-691-7300 for more information and to arrange for a tour with our leasing agent.

A salon suite rental means no longer working for someone else

That’s what this is all about, no longer working for commissions, or minimum wage, while the owner of the hair salon, and banks big bucks earned by your hard work.

A salon suite rental is no different than renting any other retail location; it’s simply smaller and thus less-expensive.  Whereas a tradition beauty salon would be operated in a retail location with room enough or six or seven work stations, plus a reception area, plus a break room in the back, with a salon suite rental, you are simply operating a small business in a small space, a single work station, perhaps two.

A salon suite rental means you are the captain of your own ship

Most likely, if you are a beautician, you have worked in a beauty salon owned by someone else, so you know how it works.  You provide the talent, you put in the long hours, and you work for commissions, usually around 40% of the dollars earned, while the owner keeps 60% of the dollars earned.

Not so using our business model.  You own the business.  You keep 100% of the profits.  You are an independent business owner operating out of rented space in our buildings. It’s as simple as that.

We have all but eliminated the risk of owning a business

Salon room rental prices, at Salon & Spa Galleria, begin at $50 per week at select locations.  That price includes utilities, includes WiFi, includes a web page, includes security, and includes laundry facilities.  Start-up costs, on average, between $500-$1000.  Monthly overhead, including rent, somewhere in the $400-$500 per month range.  You can literally pay all of your expenses after conducting business for two or three days. The rest of the month is pure profit.

To our way of thinking, we can’t understand why every talented beautician doesn’t rent a salon studio from us, and stop the insanity of working in a beauty salon owned by someone else.
